While strengthening the electric vehicle business (So far, more than 10,000 EVs have been sold) And prepare a major mass market model in the form of Punch mini SUV, Tata Motors hasn’t lost sight of its flagship SUV, Safari.Release Early 2021,Reborn Tata Safari Tata Motors has already found more than 10,000 buyers, and to keep it fresh, it has leveraged its partnership with the Indian Premier League (IPL) to roll out the Safari Gold Edition in line with the reopening of the Cricket League. ..
IPL 2021 will resume the second half of the season in Dubai, often referred to as the “City of Gold”. That’s why Tata Motors chose to add bling to the safari. It is also appropriate that gold is considered auspicious, and the appeal of the “gold” safari may be irresistible to many buyers, as the Diwali festival is imminent.

Safari Gold has two color options: white gold (a combination of frosted white paint and a black roof) and black gold. The latter is actually more striking in the body, showing a dark brown tint under bright light and, along with the small gold flakes burned into the paint, give this color scheme a truly special touch.

As the name implies, the special edition safari has a gold-finished grille, gold surround for headlights and DRL clusters, gold strips on the door handles and roof rails, and tata and safari monograms also finished in gold.

The run is as classy as it can get, but you can’t escape the fact that this much “gold” of a safari-sized SUV may be overlooked by many buyers. I couldn’t help but wonder if Tata could have been made more delicate with the gold exterior accents. Again, if you like this kind of thing, Safari Gold puts it on the floor.
More is happening in the Tata Safari Gold interior. In addition to the door handles, AC vent surround, and instrument cluster gold accents, the Safari Gold dashboard features a new trim with a marble-like aesthetic that looks more classy in the black gold version. The white version, on the other hand, adds a golden finish to the dashboard and features white marble-style trim. It looks like it comes directly from the premium tile maker’s catalog.

More importantly, Safari Gold brings even more perks to the full range of Safari. As standard, Safari Gold, based on the top-spec Safari XZ +, adds a wireless smartphone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connections, an air purifier, a diamond quilted leather seat, and a party piece that is ventilated first. 2 rows Eye seat (the latter is a 6-seat model only).

In some variations, even standard Safari now has access to almost all of these features, with the exception of seat ventilation. Wireless connectivity and phone charging add a new dimension of convenience to your safari experience. Also, a very comfortable ventilation sheet is definitely a big attraction for buyers as it will definitely help when dealing with the harsh Indian summer. Wisely, Tata Motors has limited this important addition to Safari Gold, at least for now, so buyers who really want it will have no choice but to choose gold.

Safari Gold works like any other Safari, with no other mechanical changes. You get a 2.0 liter, 170 horsepower turbo diesel engine with a choice of 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
At 21.90 rupees for manual and 23.17 rupees for automatic (in front of the showroom), Tata Safari Gold is the most expensive version of Safari (about 1.2 rupees higher than Safari Adventure) and the on-road price of automatic is 28 larks. Nearby, it’s also the most expensive Tata passenger car ever.
Despite being a special edition, Safari Gold is not a limited edition and will be available even after IPL2021 is over. Image: Tech2 / Amaan Ahmed
Most of the features added in Safari Gold are welcome, but most of them are also available in standard Safari. Unless you absolutely need a ventilated seat (which is likely to be available in standard Safari at a later date) or like gold facial ornaments, choose a Safari variation wisely. It is recommended.
