Washington State Ferries announced a reduced service schedule for Sunday to “provide more reliable, predictable service in light of severe crewing shortages,” the agency announced Saturday evening.
WSF announced that there would be service reductions across the board on Sunday in response to several days of missed sailings and reduced service because of a chronic crew shortage.

Routes that are used to having two-boat service are being knocked down to one, and routes used to having three will operate with two on Sunday, according to a service alert by WSF.
“If additional crewing becomes available, WSF will add back as much service as possible,” it said in an alert.
