MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Community Services for Vision Rehab helps people that are struggling with low vision or losing their vision. They are a non-profit 501C3, which means they are sustained with donations and grants.
If you are suffering from low vision, CSVR will conduct a Functional Vision Test to see how they can best help you.
Dr. Cheri Glaus joined WKRG News 5 to talk about how they help people find solutions.
They will also educate both the patient and care giver about their condition and the help that is available. CSVR has a number of helpful devises such as magnifiers, even driving glasses. But one size does not fit all, it’s important that you are evaluated.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — After weeks of searching, authorities located partial human remains in the Carlton Reserve on Wednesday, along with items that the FBI said belong to Brian Laundrie, the person of interest in the murder of his fiancée Gabby Petito.
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’s announcement in Clearwater of a special COVID-19 legislative session to be called, the Governor’s Office released a list of the main topics that state lawmakers will focus on during the coming legislative gathering.
The main goal of the session is to bolster existing laws or draft new ones that will provide additional protections for Floridians regarding COVID-19 vaccine mandates and employees who face what the Governor’s Office calls “unfair, discriminatory” actions by employers.
At an event in Clearwater, Gov. Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody announced a series of legal actions to combat federal vaccination requirements and protect Florida’s federal employees who may not want to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, particularly as a condition of employment.
“We’re here to announce that we need to take action to protect Florida jobs,” DeSantis aid.
