Do you enjoy making good things better?
Join the Virginia Tech UX community for weekly UX Coffee Talks! UX, or user experience design, focuses on building products and services that are easy, accessible, and enjoyable to use. These talks will help you think about how to serve your students, colleagues, and community more effectively.
This fall and winter, UX Coffee Talks will feature guest speakers from colleges and universities across the nation, including Virginia Tech, who will present on topics related to UX or share a case study from their organization’s UX efforts. Sessions are open to any interested Virginia Tech faculty or staff member, regardless of level of UX experience or expertise. You do not need to be able to attend every week — join the sessions that fit your schedule.

Sessions take place every Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. Note that these sessions are not recorded or posted afterwards, in keeping with the intent to provide a safe, informal setting to share ideas and thoughts around what can be complex and multi-layered challenges. The UX community brings together UX experts and enthusiasts at Virginia Tech with the goal of improving the university’s UX maturity and to help design and implement services that are usable, valuable, accessible, intuitive, engaging, and consistent.
