JACKSON, MI – Daniel Mahoney was born and raised on the southside of Jackson. He grew up in poverty, knowing what it’s like to live with an “immense feeling of hopelessness,” he said.
“I identify with that (and) of what to do next, what to do with my life, even when I graduated,” said Mahoney, who graduated from Jackson High School in 2000.
