Bloomington, Ind. – The City of Bloomington Information and Technology Services department applications team invites members of the public to review and evaluate a series of updates to the City website. During the public testing period December 6 – 10 users may explore the alpha-version of the updated City website and provide feedback.

The alpha-version of the City website is online here:
https://bloomington.in.gov/alpha/

Users may submit feedback on the alpha site at this testing survey:
https://cityofbloomington.research.net/r/alphawebsitesurvey

During the public testing period, staff will use feedback to inform the iterative development of the alpha website. Updates will be made to the main site during the week of December 13, depending on time required to address public feedback.
The changes to the City’s award-winning website include homepage user interface updates, search improvements, events/calendars changes, and a few other minor but impactful updates.  The updates reflect an ongoing commitment to the City’s goals of transparency, accountability and accessibility in municipal operations and services, for which the City’s website, mobile apps, and IT operations have been repeatedly recognized, as follows:

2021 Digital Inclusion Trailblazer (National Digital Inclusion Alliance)
2018 Top Ten Digital Cities (75,000-125,000 category) (Center for Digital Government)
