Modern Pest Services Acquires Ants Plus Pest Control – PCT Magazine

Modern Pest Services, an Anticimex company, adds local pest control provider in Maine.
BRUNSWICK, Maine – Modern Pest Services, and Anticimex company, announced its newest partner in New England with the acquisition of Ants Plus Pest Control based in Sabattus, Maine.
Ants Plus Pest Control, which also operates as Bug Beaters Pest Control, is a local, family-owned and operated company providing commercial, residential, and industrial pest control throughout Southern, Mid-coast, and Downeast Maine. Founded in 2001 by Jim Carter, Ants Plus has seen tremendous growth both commercially and residentially.   
Jim Carter, owner of Ants Plus, said, “After a career in the Navy, I started Ants Plus with the goal of providing pest control services to assist those in our local community with their pest control needs.  A community-based commitment helped us to grow continually.  As I researched what the next steps were for the organization, I felt aligning with a company like Modern was an excellent opportunity for both my employees and clients to benefit from.”

PWIPM of New England will host “How to Deal with Difficult Conversations,” a Zoom presentation featuring Heather Alonso, B.C.E., of Target Specialty Products, on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 12-1 p.m. EST.
Sometimes, having awkward or difficult conversations is part of being a professional. The presentation will dive into what makes certain conversations difficult and review best practices for handling these situations with tact and professionalism. 
Alonso graduated from Clemson University in 2004 with a degree in agronomic systems. She has been in the industry for over 15 years in various roles that focus on technical training. She lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, AJ, and three children, Grace, Aiden and Zoey.

The transaction strengthens Arrow's presence in Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

EnviroPest expands its presence in Colorado with acquisition of branches from Evergreen Pest Solutions in Denver and Colorado Springs.
EnviroPest expands its presence in Colorado with the acquisition of branches from Evergreen Pest Solutions in Denver and Colorado Springs.  Evergreen continues to operate in other states but exits the Colorado market with this move.
