Community Bank partnering with QDS to upgrade technology, ATMs – Pittsburgh Business Times – Pittsburgh Business Times

Community Bank, based in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, announced on Wednesday that it is partnering with Charlotte, North Carolina-based financial technology company QDS to upgrade its technology across its branches.
Community Bank, a Pennsylvania-chartered commercial bank, is the 17th-largest bank by market share in the 10-county Pittsburgh metro.
The bank will be replacing its entire ATM fleet with new Interactive Teller Machines and installing Teller Cash Recyclers. The ITMs include video teller functionality, so customers can interact with a bank teller after hours or at locations where a Community Bank previously ATM existed but a physical branch location did not.
“Together with QDS, we have developed a plan to extend the hours of our banking services, while improving our client experience and creating efficiencies throughout our operations,” John Montgomery, president and CEO of Community Bank, said in a statement. “This initiative is one example of our commitment to delivering the technology our clients want and investing in our future as an independent community bank in our markets.”
