A West Yorkshire technology services company has been acquired out of administration.
NewFox & Hollinbay, based at Cliffe Park, Morley has been bought from administrator Begbies Traynor by new company Bee IT Solutions.
Bob Maxwell and Louise Longley of Begbies Traynor were appointed as joint administrators of Newfox Ltd on 1 December 2021.
Following the appointment, Bee IT provided a buyout plan to retain a number of staff and honour customer commitments.
Adam Darwell, founder of Bee IT Solutions, said: “Having previously been senior business development manager at NewFox & Hollinbay it seemed a natural solution to purchase the company out of administration, rebrand and drive the business forward under new ownership.
“Having the understanding of our customers we knew that with a core existing team and some new talent we could offer a powerful technology portfolio and a commitment to customer service.”
David Arundel, partner at Gunner Cooke, advised on the deal.
