Xerox Acquires Powerland to Grow NA Presence in IT Services Market – Channel Futures

Xerox is buying Powerland, an IT services provider with offices in western Canada. The acquisition aims to strengthen Xerox’s IT service offerings – cloud, cybersecurity, end-user computing and managed services – in North America.

We manage our customers’ technology so they can manage their business.”
SMBs are increasing their investments in key IT solutions such as cloud infrastructure, managed IT services, collaboration solutions and cybersecurity. Xerox said the addition of Powerland will enable it to expand reach in North America and offer more value to customers throughout Canada.

This acquisition continues Xerox’s commitment to expand its IT services business. Xerox acquired both ITEC Connect, a U.K. IT services firm, and Digitex, a services provider in Canada, two years ago. The company bought Competitive Computing (C2), a Vermont-based IT services company, in October.
Researchers at Techaisle say the global IT services market is worth than $680 billion annually.
Powerland serves customers throughout Canada and provides a wide array of technology solutions and services based on individual business needs. The company recently earned 2021 industry accolades including Nvidia Partner of the YearDell Marketing Partner of the Year North AmericaHPE Service Partner of the Year and Tech Data Circle of Excellence.
